 Adult Outpatient Services Includes

Individual and group counseling and therapy, support groups, medication support services, crisis intervention and case management, provided at the Yreka 2060 Campus Drive and Mt. Shasta clinics.

1.) Mental and Behavioral Health assessment and counseling, with options designed to fit a wide variety of needs. We are a team of trained therapists with offices in Yreka and Mt. Shasta. We offer individual and group counseling services and provide referrals to our psychiatrists as needed for medication support and psychiatric evaluation. Our clinicians work with clients to develop a plan that fits their needs and goals. Services are confidential, professional and designed to help individuals learn successful attitudes and positive habits at home, at work, in educational settings and in our communities.

2.) Special Groups, scheduled at various times of the year, are designed to encourage self esteem and to provide professional and peer support for a variety of mental and behavioral health problems. Groups include support for clients and families who have debilitating or terminal illnesses to help them cope and plan. Groups also help individuals develop social and interpersonal skills.

3.) Crisis intervention and case management services include emergency assessment for hospital services and helping individuals, families and communities cope with events and stressful losses. We coordinate with other local service agencies to provide the best possible care for the adult population of Siskiyou County.

Youth and Family Services Include

Outpatient mental health assessment and counseling with options designed to fit a wide variety of needs. We are a team of trained therapists who provide full-time services at clinics in Yreka and Mt. Shasta.

We offer individual, family and group counseling services and provide referrals to our child psychiatrist as needed. Our aim is to work with you to develop a plan tailored to fit your family’s needs and goals. Services are confidential, professional and designed to help children develop successful attitudes and positive habits at home, at school and in our communities.

We have recently initiated a program to screen, assess and coordinate services for county dependents (300 cases) as they enter foster care.

Crisis intervention and case management services, including providing emergency assessments for hospital services, helping schools and communities cope with stressful losses and events and coordinating with other local children’s services agencies to provide the best possible care for the youth of Siskiyou County.

Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services

include individual and group counseling, drug diversion, EAP and relapse prevention classes and residential treatment placement. Services are provided in Yreka and Mt. Shasta.

Please note that Medi-Cal does not cover Alcohol and Drug Abuse or Perinatal Services, but payment is based on a sliding scale dependent upon a client's ability to pay. Some special services require a separate fee.

Next Step Chemical Dependency Program

located at the Yreka 2060 Campus Drive office, offering drug and alcohol treatment services and classes pertaining to addiction, recovery, and improved daily living to pregnant and parenting women in Siskiyou County.
