Victim Witness Program:

The Siskiyou County Victim Witness Program is part of the District Attorney’s Office (Criminal Division) and is located in the County Courthouse at 311 Fourth Street. Our office is on the first floor behind the stairwell.  Office staff consists of one Victim/Witness Coordinator, two Victim/Witness Advocates and Victim/Witness Volunteers.

The main goal of the Victim Witness program is to assist victims and witnesses of crime in recovering physically, mentally and financially from the effects of crime incidents. A secondary goal is to assist the District Attorney’s Office in successfully prosecuting cases involving crimes committed in Siskiyou Country.

  • Advocacy and support during law enforcement interviews.
  • Individual orientation to the criminal justice system.
