The Siskiyou Association of Governmental Entities (SAGE) is
established by a joint powers agreement among the incorporated
cities of the County and the County for the purpose of
establishing a permanent forum for discussion and study of
regional problems of mutual interest and concern to the cities
within, and the County of Siskiyou, and for development of
policy and action recommendations.
The primary purposes of SAGE are: (1) the review of Local
Government Proposals by local agencies and the making of
appropriate recommendations as to policy or actions to be taken;
(2) the identification and study of problems, functions and
services affecting Siskiyou County; and (3) other regional
planning functions deemed appropriate for the Association as
determined by a majority approval of member agencies.
The SAGE Board of Directors consists of one (1)
representative of each the nine incorporated cities in Siskiyou County
and two (2) representatives of the Board of Supervisors for
