Zoning Information

Inquiries as to the specific zoning classification applying to a property can be verified with the Planning Department, either in person, telephone (530) 841-2100, or by email. For Zoning, General Plan, Parcel Information By Email! click on the link and we will do our best to answer your email within 24 hours.

A Planner is available Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m and 4 p.m. for additional information regarding the potential use of existing or proposed properties. Large scaled zoning maps can be reviewed in the Planning Department to determine the exact nature of the zoning boundaries relative to surrounding parcels and land use.
