PROPERTY ASSESSMENT INQUIRY

The Siskiyou County Assessor's Office is pleased to provide you with the capability to view the Assessment Roll on-line. The Assessment Roll is a public document which lists property values, ownership information, and location information for all real estate and business property in the County.

This application is best viewed using Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher and a screen resolution of 1024 x 768.

LEGAL LIMITATIONS

California Government Code Section 6254.21 prohibits the display of home addresses or telephone numbers of any elected or appointed official on the Internet by a State or Local Agency without first obtaining the written permission of that individual. To comply with this Statute, we are limited to providing property searches for all parcels by Assessor's Parcel Number (APN), as opposed to searches by name or address. We have chosen to display Assessee Names which, under this Statute, prevents the display of mailing and/or situs addresses. Please note that name and address searches are still readily available in person at our counter computers, or can be purchased from various private vendors. One such vendor is CD-Data - Parcel Quest at www.parcelquest.com.
