NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Siskiyou County Board of
Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 6,
2010, at 1:30 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers,
Courthouse, 311 Fourth Street, Yreka, CA, to consider
a proposed Ordinance amending Title 2, Chapter 12, Section
2-12.101 of the Siskiyou County Code regarding County Clerk
fees.
All interested persons are invited to be present and be heard
thereon

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Siskiyou
County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing
Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 1:30p.m., at the Board of
Supervisors’ Chambers, 311 Fourth Street, Yreka CA., to
discuss the Close-out Grantee Performance Report for 08 STBG
1781 the Housing Rehabilitation, and Public Improvement Set a
Side, Grant year 2005.
The purpose of the public hearing will be
to discuss the grant accomplishments and to give the citizens
an opportunity to make their comments known. If you are unable
to attend the public hearing you may direct written comments
to the Board of Supervisors, 510 North Main Street, Yreka, CA
96097, or you may telephone (530) 841-2100. In addition,
information may be obtained at the Siskiyou County Public
Health and Community Development Department, 806 South Main
Street, Yreka CA 96097 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00
p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on
Friday.
If you plan on attending the public hearing

The applicant proposes a Zone Change
(Z-09-02) to reclassify 10.92 acres from the Non-Prime
Agricultural (AG2) zone district to Rural Residential
Agricultural, 5 Acre Density (RRB5) zone district.
A concurrent Tentative Parcel Map (TPM-09-06) proposes
to subdivide 10.92 acres into 2 parcels, 5.92 acres and 5.0
acres in size. The
parcel is located at 533 Madison Drive, in Mount Shasta, west

NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING AMENDMENT TO CDBG STANDARD
AGREEMENT
NOTICE
IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors
will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at
1:30 p.m. at the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers, Courthouse,
311 4th Street, Yreka, CA, to discuss amendment to
Community Development Block Grant 07-EDEF-3765 and to solicit
citizen input.
The
California Department of Housing and Community Development
awarded the County of Siskiyou Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($500,000) under the Economic Development Component of
California’s Community Development Block Grant program. The
award requires Two Hundred Ninety Five Thousand Dollars
($295,000) to be used for Business Assistance Loans. The
County of Siskiyou seeks to amend the agreement governing the
award, to reallocate those funds to be used for Business
Assistance Loans to Microenterprise Assistance.
A
purpose of this public hearing will be to give citizens an
opportunity to make their comments known.

The applicants request
concurrent Zone Change and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map
approval to modify an existing Planned Development in order to
develop an additional 20,000 square feet of office space to be
used for professional office uses and health care facilities.
10,000 square feet of office space is proposed to be
developed in a single structure located in Parcel 3.
The additional 10,000 square feet of commercial office
space would be developed in two separate structures within the
designated Remainder Parcel.
The Vesting Tentative Parcel Map would subdivide the
3.06 acre Remainder Parcel into two parcels encompassing
0.52-acre (Parcel 4) and 2.80-acres (Remainder).
The project site is located at 635 Lassen Lane,
adjacent to the southbound lane of Interstate 5 and the City

Based on the Initial
Study, Planning Division staff is recommending a Mitigated
Negative Declaration.

Mitigated Negative Declaration /
Tentative Subdivision Map and Zone ChangeTSM-08-01/Z-08-04 (Waddell, et
al.)
The
applicants request concurrent Zone Change and
Tentative Subdivision Map approval to reclassify
35.0 acres from Rural Residential Agricultural, 40
acre minimum parcel size (RRB40) to the Rural
Residential Agricultural, 5 acre minimum parcel size
(RRB5) zone district and 4.0 acres from the RRB5 to
the Rural Residential Agricultural, 2.5 acre minimum
parcel size (RRB2.5) zone district. Upon zone change
approval, the 185.0 acre project site would be
subdivided into 7 lots, where sewage disposal
services would be provided by individual on-site
septic systems and water services would be provided
by individual on-site domestic wells. Access to Lots
1, 3, 4, 5 and 7 would be provided by direct
connection to Indian Creek Road (County Road #7C01).
Access to Lot 2 would be provided by direct
connection to South Fork Road (County Road #8C001).
Access to Lot 6 would be provided by a new road
approximately 450 feet in length and improved to a
Plate 3 road standard, which consists of an 18 foot
wide travel lane, two 4 foot shoulders, and
aggregate base, situated within a 40 foot wide
easement. The project site is located at 8310 Indian
Creek Road, north of the community of Happy Camp;
T17N, R7E, Sec. 5 & 8, H.M.; APN: 009-340-290,
009-330-110 & 160. /p>
