If you prefer to vote by mail and have your ballot mailed to you prior to each election, there are several ways available to you to apply for vote-by-mail ballots:
- Initial Box #15 on your vote registration card.
- Complete and mail in the Application for Vote-By-Mail Ballot located on the back cover of your sample ballot that you will receive approximately one month prior to each election.
- You can write to the County Clerk's Office, 510 N. Main Street, Yreka, CA 96097, and ask to receive a vote-by-mail ballot. Your written request must include your name, residence address, and your signature.
- Prior to each election, an Application for Vote-By-Mail Ballot will be posted on this website, under the specific election date. You can complete this application and mail it to the County Clerk's Office.
