Mission Statement
The Siskiyou County Human Services Department's mission is to provide services and
assistance to families and individuals of Siskiyou County through a holistic,
collaborative approach that will facilitate a move towards a healthy, safe and self
sufficient lifestyle. Employment and temporary services, child and adult protective
services and basic needs assistance will be provided through a shared responsibility, with
the family or individuals, with a focus on quality of care, a humane approach, and
maximizing all available resources.
