Telephone Flat Geothermal Development Project

Medicine Lake area of Siskiyou County

On February 14, 2003, the Siskiyou County Air Pollution Control District, by and through its Air Pollution Control Officer, certified an Environmental Impact Report for the Telephone Flat Geothermal Development Project. As required by Public Resources Code section 21152, a Notice of Determination will be posted after the final decision to approve, disapprove, or conditionally approve the project is issued. Copies of the Notice of Certification of the EIR and the associated Statement of Decision No. 03-01 (including Exhibit A [the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program], Exhibit B [the Findings of Fact and Statement of Overriding Considerations], and Exhibit C [the Second Errata for the Telephone Flat Geothermal Development Project EIR]), are available through the links on this web site.

Notice is also provided that the Siskiyou County Air Pollution Control District, by and through its Air Pollution Control Officer, has issued the Authority to Construct for the Telephone Flat Geothermal Development Project by CPN Telephone Flat, Inc. (ATC No. G.P.P.2), effective February 14, 2003. Copies of the Notice of Issuance of the Authority to Construct, the associated Statement of Decision No. 03-02, and ATC No. G.P.P.2 are also available through the links on this web site.

Please take notice that the period to file an appeal of the Air Pollution Control Officer’s decision to certify the Telephone Flat Geothermal Development Project Environmental Impact Report (Statement of Decision No. 03-01) and/or the issuance of ATC No. G.P.P.2 (Statement of Decision No. 03-02) ends at 5:00 P.M. on February 27, 2003.
