USING YOUR CREDIT CARD

The Siskiyou County Tax Collector is now offering the following payment options for property owners. You may pay your property taxes by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover/Novus credit card.

To make a credit card payment over the Internet, simply click here and you will be directed to our Internet payment provider, Official Payments Corp. You must have the following information available:

1. Type of Taxes to be paid (i.e. secured, unsecured, secured and unsecured prior years, or supplemental) If you are unsure how to identify your taxes, please call our office at (530) 842-8340 prior to logging on to the website.

2. Full ASMT number (Must have all 12 digits)

3. Exact total amount owed per assessment (including tax, penalties, fees, etc.)

4. Siskiyou County Zip Code = 96097

To make a credit card payment by telephone, just call 1-800-272-9829. You must have the following information available:

1. Type of Taxes to be paid (i.e. secured, unsecured, secured and unsecured prior years, or supplemental) If you are unsure how to identify your taxes, please call our office at (530) 842-8340 prior to logging on to the website.

2. Full ASMT number (Must have all 12 digits)

3. Exact total amount owed per assessment (including tax, penalties, fees, etc.)

4. Jurisdiction Code = 1519 (Code for Siskiyou County)

***PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT OFFICIAL PAYMENTS CORP. CHARGES A “CONVENIENCE FEE” FOR CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS. THE FEE IS BASED ON THE AMOUNT YOUR TRANSACTION. THIS FEE IS NOT CHARGED BY SISKIYOU COUNTY.
