Siskiyou County Industry Employment - The U.S. Department of Commerce counts both part-time and full-time jobs equally. Industry Analysis/Gross County Product - This is an analysis utilizing the latest statistics available on local industry from Dun & Bradstreet's survey of businesses. Total sales for the entire county can be considered the total gross county product (shown in bold). Note that Gross National Product is calculated slightly differently (GNP measures expenditures for consumer goods, services, commercial and industrial plant  and equipment, government purchases, and net exports), GNP is an attempt to measure the value of goods produced and sold within the nation. Therefore, total sales for the county can be considered Gross County Product.
