Vote by Mail

If you prefer to vote by mail and have your ballot mailed to you prior to each election, there are several ways available to you to apply for vote-by-mail ballots:

  1. Initial Box #15 on your vote registration card.
  2. Complete and mail in the Application for Vote-By-Mail Ballot located on the back cover of your sample ballot that you will receive approximately one month prior to each election.
  3. You can write to the County Clerk's Office, 311 Fourth Street, Room 201, Yreka, CA 96097, and ask to receive a vote-by-mail ballot. Your written request must include your name, residence address, and your signature. 
  4. Prior to each election, an Application for Vote-By-Mail Ballot will be posted on this website, under the Current Election tab. You can complete that application and mail it to the County Clerk's Office.
