Staff Working on Phone System

The Communication Division is responsible for the following:

  • Radio and telephone service for all County departments.
  • Service to all County two-way users.
  • The Nor-Cal EMS radio system with mountaintop repeaters for ambulance service throughout the county.
  • Maintenance of over 400 mobile radios, 350 handhelds and numerous pagers.
  • Installation of radios, light bars, cameras and other special needs on all County vehicles.
  • Data wiring, fiber optics, security cameras, alarm systems, public address systems and interview room electronics.
  • Supports state mandated County 911 coordination.
