Job and Training Resources
The Siskiyou County SMART Workforce Center, located at 582 Main Street in Weed, is designed to provide a full range of assistance to local job seekers and businesses all under one roof.
The California Employment Development Department and State of Oregon Employment Department, in partnership with state and local agencies and organizations, provide a comprehensive range of employment and training services.
College of the Siskiyous, Lassen Community College, Shasta College, and Southern Oregon University offer instruction in career programs such as law enforcement, fire technology, correctional science, business and accounting, computer science, nursing, and others as well as lower-division college coursework.
