Pest Detection

The Pest Detection Program works in tandem with the Pest Prevention and Quarantine Programs. The programs primary responsibilities are early detection and prompt eradication of any pest infestation that would be detrimental to our counties agriculture, natural resources and environment. This is accomplished through trapping, surveys, and treatment of identified infestations as outlined in Siskiyou County Ordinance and State Code.
